New Wine and Pricing

These are the new wines available on Sept 8, 2022:

2021 Counoise - Horse Heaven Hills - 100% Counoise - $31.00/bottle.  That's right, a red wine ready to consume in less than a year. We picked this October 2021 and will be released 11 months later. The wine was aged 6 months in neutral oak barrels and bottled aged for 5 months. This Rhone varietal is light in color and highly aromatic. It has rich aromas of raspberry, cherry, cinnamon, and black tea. This is a medium body red wine that pairs well with Thanksgiving dinner, chicken wings, and salmon.

2019 Primitivo - Horse Heaven Hills - 100% Primitivo - $27.00/bottle. This fruit forward wine has a long finish and silky tannins. On the nose there are hints of violet, wet earth, and plum. Flavors of mixed berries, and tobacco abound. Aged in neutral oak barrels for 1 year. Pair with herb crusted pork loin or lasagna.

2029 Cabernet Franc - Horse Heaven Hills - 100% Cabernet Franc - $29.00/bottle - This wine has dark fruit flavors and a savory finish. It's very smooth and has zero rough edges. Pairs with a peppercorn steak or a rack of lamb. Any vegetarians out there? Try pairing this with smoked portobello mushrooms stuffed with panko bread crumbs and herbed goat cheese.
